The songs I sing and the message I bring stems
from my belief that many
people don't believe that Christianity has anything for them. They believe there
is a God. Many people that I talk to believe there is a Jesus Christ.
Somehow,
many people believe that Christianity, God and Jesus either can't do anything for
them, won't do anything for them for a variety of reasons, or they're just not
interested. Not interested due to misconceptions.
Then there are people who have accepted Christ as their Lord, the
Christians. Their sins have been forgiven--but that's it. Jesus, as we read
in His Word has so much more for us. He even tells us that we can live an
abundant life! It's sad that believers have access to the answers for every
situation and that they don't have to worry. They don't have to try to figure
life's problems, both huge and small, out on thier own. For whatever reason,
they choose to ignore God's promses and dependence either out of ignorance to
God's Word, disobedience resulting in lack of blessings, or simple unbelief.
Listen to my songs and you'll see that I've worked through those thoughts
and struggles personally. I guess we always will to some degree or another
until we get to Heaven. But until then, my ministry is to use the talent God has
given me simply lead others in Worship, Praise and encouragement. The Holy
Spirit comes to do the rest for each individual soul.
If you haven't talked to the Lord lately, do so today. If you haven't
accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord, why the wait? Read His Word, the Holy Bible
frequently. Get to know it. Don't try to figure out the scripture, let the
living scripture figure you out. You'll be amazed.
Pastors, concert organizers, jail keepers, school principals, if you live
in the Midwest, call me. I would love and sing and lead all of us in Worship
together.
